- Attendance: We had almost sixty coaches attend the September
meeting. This beat our attendance record by about twenty.
- New Coaches Notebooks: Monica Erwin (Pope) put together ten
coaching notebooks for new coaches. She did an excellent job. Many of our new
coaches have commented on what a great help the notebooks have been to them.
- GHSSCA Web site: Pete Higgins (Westminster) and Jeff Rosen
(Wheeler) have put together our GHSSCA Web site. The address is www.mindspring.com/~ghssca. We
encourage your use of and comments about the site. This is our site. Let's
put it to work for our benefit.
- Cash Awards: Each "Coach-of-the-Year" will receive a
check for $100.00 for their efforts from the GHSSCA at the State Meet.
- Meet Scheduling: Several coaches scheduled swim meets at this
meeting. We discussed the invitationals that were to be held this season.
- Secretary-Treasurer's Report: We have $1,096.32 in our
account. Please send dues to Kristina Nesbitt at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School,

- Spring Meeting: Our next meeting is at Marist, 3790 Ashford
Dunwoody Rd. on Saturday, February 28, 1998. It will begin at 10:00 AM. Call
Terry Blish, GHSSCA President, at work (770457-7201 or at home (770)457-8402. We
will discuss any needed GHSA rule changes and give out the All-State certificates to the
top 8 place finishers at State.
