This event is open to swimmers and divers in grades 6, 7, and 8 only, competing for their middle or junior high school. All contestants must represent their respective Middle or Jr. high schools- no unattached swimmers/divers. All contestants must meet eligibility requirements as outlined by the Georgia High School Association.

Each swimmer may compete in a maximum of two individual events and four total events (diving and all swimming events, including relays, count as entries). Each team is permitted a maximum of four entries in each individual and relay event, except that a team is allowed unlimited entries in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. Only the top four individuals and one relay from a team will receive points. National Federation rules will apply in all other situations for the meet.

YOU MUST ENTER YOUR TEAM IN A HY-TEK TEAM MANAGER FILE! Your meet entry file should have the standard high school dual meet events, with the boys first and diving listed as events #9 and #10. E-mail your entry file to marshallc@marist.com . Any entries submited not using Hy-tek with incur a $20 per swimmer surcharge. Entries due Tuesday, December 7th by 6:00 p.m. Any entries received after the dealine are subject to a $100 fine.

Please note below the qualifying times for the 200 Free, 200 IM, and 500 Free.

Diving Sheet Due : Tuesday, December 7th by 6:00 p.m. Please use GHSA 6 dive sheet, 1st dive can be any dive max DD 1.8. E-mail scanned or original sheets to marshallc@marist.com or deliver to the school by the Tuesday night deadline.

Entry fees are $4.00 per individual event and $11.00 per relay event. If a team is only entering divers, there is a $35 fee for each diver. Please make checks payable to “MARIST SWIMMING”.

No refunds will be offered for athletes that fail to compete or scratch prior to the meet entry deadline.

The standard high school event schedule will be followed, with Diving held on Friday beginning at 5:00 p.m. 

Diving is the 6-Dive format.

NEW FOR 2021 - We will break the meet up into 2 meets. Each team will get to choice which meet they want to swim in base on availablity. The reults from both meets will be combined and an overall winner will be selcted from the combined results. Please secure your session ASAP. All Swimming events are timed finals and will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.  This change comes from growth. Our sport is growing on the Middle School level and the meet simply got to big.

If you have late entries or errors, call them in to Coach Chris Marshall at 770-936-2274 (you may leave them as a message) by Wednesday night before the meet or they will not be seeded on the heat sheet. Late fees are $10 per individual event and $20 per relay.

The standard high school event schedule will be followed, with events 9 and 10, 1-meter diving, held on Friday at 5:00 p.m. Dive warmups will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Scoring will be through 16 places. 20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 for individual events; double points for relay events.  Only one relay will score for a team.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 girls and boys teams.

Please be on your best behavior. Do not enter any areas of the campus designated as off-limits, and follow all rules as directed by the meet officials.  Please clean up your team area before leaving the meet!

Numerous hotels and restaurants are located nearby. 

Once all entries have been received a warm-up schedule will be sent to all the teams. Warm-up times and lanes will be assigned based on team size and geographic area.

QUALIFYING TIMES:

GIRLS/BOYS 200 FREE 3:30.00/3:30.00;

GIRLS/BOYS 200 IND. MED. 3:30.00/3:30.00; 

GIRLS/BOYS 500 FREE 8:00.00/8:00.00

Diving will start at 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Swimming Timed Finals will start at 9:00 a.m. & 3 p.m. Saturday.
